We welcome all to drop by and visit the Muay Thai training camp at Aikithai, located at 11105 Shady Trail suite #109 Dallas Texas 75229.
We welcome new beginners- to the advanced martial artist.
Classes are held every Thursday evenings from 7:-8:30 p.m.
Saturday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Classes are given under the instruction of Khru Sosa who has been a practitioner of the martial arts for over 35 years.Coming from a long lineage of martial artist, such as the late Shihan Bill Sosa who recently just passed away and whom was responsible for bringing the art of Aikido to the Texas area in 1972 and the author of "The essense of Aikido" ,"P.A.C.T, and "Journey to self mastery" .
Khru John Sosa holds the rank of Sandan (3rd. degree) in Aikido and has been practicing the art of Muay Thai under Grandmaster Surachai Sirisute since 1988 and is also certified as one of his first students in the U.S.A. and has competed nationally/internationally.
Khru Sosa has spent a large part of his training with disciplines such as western boxing and kickboxing as well, and incorporates his experience into his muay thai instruction.
Mr. Sosa teaches muay thai for the ring sport but also for everyday living and self defense!
The school is located just off I35 and Walnut Hill ln. 2 blocks east on Shady Trail.
Classes are held in a friendly and helpful atmosphere and the training is second to none when it comes to getting students in their best shape and condition.
Much emphasis is put on good training/fighting habits and cardiovascular and endurance as well as learning the health aspects such as the breathing and stretching exercises and over all discipline that is required in the development of the martial arts.
Much attention is given to each student realizing each person learns at a different pace and must be helped and encouraged along the way to learn and enjoy the martial arts training here at AikiThai!

Martial Arts Training

Muay Thai or other wise known here in the United States as Thai Kickboxing, is a very practical and effective means to self defense as well as teaches the offensive aspect too.

The science of eight limbs (hands, feet, elbows and knees).

Muay Thai teaches the practitioner how to have a better sense of center through some of the grappling training that it offers and those who train in the art of muay thai develop great endurance and of course it helps people of all ages who participate in such activities to obtain better health and peace of mind.

Mr. Sosa believes in teaching how to develop the mind as well as the body, obtaining great cardio and endurance but also a great attitude and confidence for everyday life !
