The Aiki Thai Camp is proudly hosting our annual Fall 2009 Muay Thai workshop.

Cost: $ 35.00 Please make all checks & money orders payable to Aiki Thai Camp

 The workshop will cover learning the basics of Muay Thai kicks as well as learning how to use various elbow and knee strikes. You will also learn western Boxing combinations that are used by professional athletes world wide utilizing the focus mitts and Muay Thai pads for developing striking. The art of Muay Thai is centuries old and over the last few decades has been used by many fighters in boxing, Muay Thai. kick boxing and the M.M.A.

You don’t have to be a serious martial artist to gain the many benefits Muay Thai has to offer !

This workshop will offer light challenges in terms of stamina and cardiovascular drills.

This workshop is for the beginner and no experience is necessary

 It’s a great way to get in shape and stay in shape as well as learn realistic and practical self defense for today’s fast and changing world.

 Gear needed: Inexpensive or professional bag gloves & pr. Hand wraps for hand protection during striking. (Bag gloves & wraps can be purchased online at several locations) Ex: Ringside.com,Combatsports.com,etc...Some gloves are available to use but supply limited !

You will also need comfortable shorts, trunks or sweat pants, a T-shirt & hand towel

Instructor/Khru John Sosa, brings over 35 years experience in the martial arts and has been teaching Muay Thai Boxing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex since 95. Mr. Sosa has been very active hosting many seminars and workshops throughout the years and would like to extend a warm welcome to the DFW and Martial arts community..
